What a girl wants.
When you wished to be seen and that is what happened, but
the thing you wanted him to notice was everything you wished he would see
better. You wished he would see past the plastered smiles and see how much you
hurt, you wished he could do things with you and make it seem like he wanted to
a bit more, and you wished he knew how to speak in poems so that with every
word he said it would penetrate the depths of your heart and soul. But your
eyes work differently to his, and you’re not sure why. Do you love him more? Or
does he love you less? Or maybe it’s that anxious attachment you said you
worked on, but you only pushed it to the side.
But let me tell you, don't expect him to see it when you hide it so well.
